value to you. So, I want to make it easy for you to
fit "Let's Talk..." into your busy life

actually going to reduce the amount of information in each issue so
that it will be a quick and easy read

OPENING
THOUGHT
"Resistance is one of the most common responses
to change and can be one of the most challenging to overcome."
FOOD
FOR
THOUGHT: Responding
to Change
Change is a normal, natural and inevitable
part of life. You cannot prevent it nor can you avoid it. The issue
is not whether or not there will be change - that is pretty much a
given. The real question is whether you will choose to be a
change victim or a
change manager.
Here are some steps that you can take in order to respond
effectively to change in your personal or professional life:
 |
Find quiet times and
stable places to give yourself a
break from the chaos that often surrounds change;
|
 |
Consider what you will be
losing and what you stand to
gain from the change;
|
 |
Create a plan to acquire the
knowledge and skills that you
will need to effectively deal with the change;
|
 |
Identify both
short and long-term objectives
associated with the changes that you are facing; and
|
 |
Commit to
experimenting with your life.
